DP World Mundra achieves another breakthrough in operational excellence

~Creates a record of 49.5 moves per hour with vessel M.V. Seroja Lima~

Mundra, India, October 12, 2016: Global trade enabler DP World operated Mundra International Container Terminal has achieved an impressive rate of 49.5 moves per crane per hour while handling the Maersk Line vessel M.V. Seroja Lima.

Along with this, DP World Mundra also accomplished an outstanding berth productivity rate of 180 moves per hour at the main berth having four twin-lift and 21-across quay cranes. The 8,520-TEU Seroja Lima was unloaded, loaded and departed within a time frame of less than ten hours.

The latest achievement of 49.5 crane moves per hour exceeded the terminal’s earlier productivity record of 48.97 moves per crane per hour which was set in August 2014.
